100% Cotton, Beeswax and Water based fabric Dyes. These are handmade and hand painted and are different to Batiks produced under large scale production. The care instructions are therefore different.
Each piece comes ready to hang. Light wood is on the top and bottom of the piece, string is attached to the top piece of wood on each side.
No, Batik fabric may bleed when in contact with water. For any blemishes, sponge off with a minimum amount of water, remember fabric bleed is irreversible.
Dust can be brushed off lightly with a dry brush.
Place the Batik between 2 pieces of material or unprinted paper to avoid direct contact from the heat of the iron to the batik, Iron maximum on a warm setting with no steam.
Do not hang the Batik in direct sunlight as colour fading may occur over time.
As wax is used in the Batik process, do not hang the fabric over a radiator, colour fading would occur over time.
Store the textile flat and cover it with acid free paper to protect the colour. Rolling the fabric is also a good way to avoid damage but ensure no creases occur when rolling. Avoid folding the fabric because any fabric kept folded for a long time will develop a permanent crease, which is hard to remove, and can cause the dyes to migrate.
As all products are handmade, colours may differ slightly in each piece, but on the whole, each piece will be very similar to the shop product image.
1-2cm difference is also possible in the finished size, larger or smaller as each fabric piece is hand cut and hand sewn.

For items in stock, these will ship in 1-3 working days.
For made–to-order or personalised pieces, please allow 4 – 10 working days for the item to ship. If your order isn’t in stock then it needs to be handmade, in this case we will notify you of the timeframe by email when we receive your order.

Please note that we do not ship on weekends and public holidays.
Shipping fees are calculated at Checkout. We use An Post registered tracked delivery and as such are subject to change.
The customer is responsible for any international custom duties, taxes, VAT, brokerage fees or tariffs levied that may be charged after the initial postage.

Covid-19, Customs and In Country restrictions
Delivery times are out of our control in the case of customs some locations restrictions etc. and please note that delivery may take longer than usual due to Covid 19 restrictions.
We are not responsible for delivery delays due to Covid 19, customs, in country restrictions etc.
We really hope you love your Irish Rock Art Batik order, however we accept that sometimes your order needs to be returned.
However, we cannot offer returns for items which have been personalised.

We accept returned items in their original condition only with no signs of wear and tear and with original tags intact. Please use a trackable mode of postage only for your item to reach us safely.
All return items should reach us within 28 working days from the date the order was delivered.
The returns and shipping charges are at your cost.
After we have received the goods, we will either send new goods to you with additional courier fee or arrange the refund. The refund amount will be the sales amount minus the courier fee.
In the case of an exchange, the customer is responsible for the return costs as well as the cost of sending the new item.
